The deployment of Philips solutions at Fruitisimo has resulted in cost savings and streamlined the sale of promoted products.

Fruitisimo is a network of fruit bars in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, where customers can enjoy freshly mixed vitamin cocktails, handmade ice cream, great coffee or cakes. In total, the network includes 60 locations and is still growing. The company follows the slogan Live what you love – a healthy, active lifestyle, fun, smile and passion for what Fruitisimo does.

As part of its strategy to improve customer service, Fruitisimo decided to re-fresh the design of its stores and also work on the presentation of products and promotions. It is gradually replacing old menus and posters in frames with new digital screens. A tender was launched, and Philips Display Solutions emerged as the winner.

Requirements for the new system
One of the first requirements was the ability to quickly promote special offers across the entire network and make product offers more flexible. Another key demand was a centrally managed system that’s easy to operate yet provides enough insights for IT admins. The required screen sizes ranged from 22" to 55".

Fruitisimo chose the Philips solution as it met all the requirements. With a wide portfolio of monitors and professional displays, the panel selection was easy. The entire network is managed centrally using the tailor-made ArtemisOne software, known for its robustness, simplicity, and clear interface. The system is also available at a very competitive price.

Philips signage re-fresh
The final goal is to equip all Fruitisimo stores across Europe with Philips digital signage. The total number of installed panels will reach around 450. In the first phase, approximately 80 panels of various sizes have already been installed and can be centrally controlled using the ArtemisOne cloud-based system.

Thanks to ArtemisOne, the system administrator can manage both the hardware side (brightness, contrast, colors, volume, screen schedules) and the content organization. Content can be changed almost instantly or scheduled in advance. ArtemisOne makes managing the entire network easy from a single dashboard, with all key data just a click away.

What makes the control system unique is that it includes photos of the actual locations. The admin always knows which display is where and under what conditions it operates. A simple visual system shows green (working fine) or red (issues). It’s also possible to create configuration files that set parameters for entire groups of screens—apply settings once, and they’ll propagate automatically across the network or to selected units.

“Thanks to the Philips solution, we’ve entered the digital era. The new panels helped us reduce costs and optimize how we promote our products. We expect this centralized digital solution to increase sales of promoted items, which will shorten our return on investment,” said Jan Hummel, owner of Fruitisimo.

B2B solutions and professional displays at Philips are managed by Jana Robešová, Leoš Lemberk, and Milan Krejzlík.
“When designing a signage solution, we always start with the customer’s needs. The whole system is customizable to each client,” added Milan Krejzlík from the Philips Professional Display Solutions division.
