The scent of the digital era – FAnn perfumery with Philips Professional Display Solutions
FAnn is the oldest beauty retail network in the Czech Republic, founded in 1991. Today, it serves more than half a million customers each year. The network includes 42 stores and 4 specialized beauty salons. Customers can also conveniently shop via the e-shop at www.fann.cz. The company has successfully stood up to strong international competition through creativity and a drive for progress. One of the latest advancements is a digital transformation. As part of its strategy to enhance services for customers and partners, FAnn decided to redesign its stores and improve product presentation — replacing traditional promotion tools with modern digital screens. Philips Display Solutions was selected as the winner of the public tender.

Requirements for the new system
Key requirements included the ability to promote products network-wide, provide flexible content options, and deliver detailed system reports. Centralized management was essential, with the need for ease of use combined with deep control. Also important was the range of screen sizes — from 22" to 55".

FAnn chose Philips due to its wide portfolio of professional displays. The central network management is powered by the tailor-made software ArtemisOne, which excels in simplicity, reliability, and price.

Philips signage re-fresh
The final goal is to equip the entire FAnn network with a Philips digital signage solution. Around 300 screens will be installed in total. The first phase saw the deployment of 30 displays of various sizes — all of which are centrally managed via the ArtemisOne cloud platform.

Thanks to ArtemisOne, administrators can manage both technical settings (brightness, contrast, color, volume, screen scheduling) and content operations. Marketing staff can update promotional content in near real-time or schedule campaigns in advance. The system is designed for ease of use, offering all necessary data within a few clicks from a single dashboard.

A standout feature is the inclusion of photos from the screen location. This allows the admin to know exactly where the display is and under what conditions it operates. A visual dashboard shows which screens are operating normally (green) and where issues occur (red). Configuration files can also be created and deployed across groups of screens — with changes made once and pushed network-wide or to selected panels. Data can be exported as Excel reports for further analysis.

B2B solutions and professional displays at Philips are handled by Jana Robešová, Leoš Lemberk, and Milan Krejzlík.
